2. Scope of this notice
This notice applies when you visit our website, contact us, request information, subscribe to updates, buy or use our products and services, request support, apply for a role, or otherwise deal with Predator Software Ltd. A separate organisation or website may provide additional privacy information where it controls how your information is used.
3. Personal information we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, employer, job title, postal address, email address and telephone number.
- Customer and transaction details: products, services, quotations, orders, licence information, invoices, payment status and delivery information. Payment-card details may be collected directly by our payment provider rather than by us.
- Support and technical details: support requests, correspondence, product configuration, diagnostic information and information needed to investigate or resolve a problem.
- Marketing preferences: the update categories you select, your consent, confirmation, unsubscribe status and related timestamps.
- Recruitment details: application, employment history, qualifications, references and information supplied during recruitment.
- Website and device details: IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Correspondence: information you provide in emails, forms, telephone calls, meetings and other communications.
Please do not provide sensitive or special-category information unless we ask for it and it is necessary for a stated purpose.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether the processing is necessary and balance our interests against your rights and reasonable expectations.
5. Email updates and Brevo
When you subscribe to Predator Software updates, we collect your first name, email address, chosen subscription categories and consent record. We use Brevo to host the signup form, record subscription choices, send confirmation messages and deliver email updates on our behalf.
We use a confirmation email to help verify that the address belongs to you. You can choose one or both update categories, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
After an unsubscribe request, we may retain a minimal suppression record so that we can respect your choice and avoid adding the address back to marketing lists unintentionally. Brevo acts as our email-service processor. More information is available from Brevo’s privacy policy.
6. Cookies and online services
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for operation, help protect forms, remember choices or help us understand website use. Services used on parts of the website include:
- Google Analytics, which provides website usage statistics.
- Google reCAPTCHA, which helps protect forms from spam and abuse.
- Brevo, which provides the email signup form and email delivery services.
- Elfsight and WhatsApp/Meta, when the website chat feature is displayed or used.
- TimeTask, when you choose to open the external support portal.
These providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and interactions with their service. Where consent is required, we ask for it before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can also restrict cookies using your browser settings, although parts of the website may not work as intended.
7. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We may share it only where necessary with:
- Predator Software Inc. and other Predator Software personnel involved in sales, fulfilment, support, administration or security;
- service providers that supply hosting, IT, email delivery, analytics, form protection, communications, customer support, payment, accounting, delivery and professional services;
- business partners, resellers or suppliers where needed to respond to your request or fulfil a contract and where an appropriate legal basis applies;
- regulators, courts, law enforcement, insurers, auditors and professional advisers where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights; and
- a purchaser or successor if part or all of our business is reorganised, transferred or sold, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Service providers may use personal information only as permitted by their contracts and applicable law.
8. International transfers
Some recipients and service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted transfer applies, we use a lawful transfer mechanism such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another safeguard permitted by applicable data protection law. You may contact us for information about the safeguard used for a particular transfer.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements. In particular:
- newsletter subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, a limited suppression record may be retained to honour your request;
- customer, order, invoice and contractual records are kept for the customer relationship and afterward for applicable tax, accounting and legal limitation periods;
- support information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain service history, protect security and resolve disputes;
- enquiry and recruitment information is kept only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry or recruitment process and related legal obligations or claims; and
- website and analytics information is retained according to the settings and retention periods applied to the relevant service.
We consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the risk of harm, the reason it is needed and applicable legal requirements when setting retention periods.
10. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we use your personal information and obtain a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to delete information;
- ask us to restrict how information is used;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- ask for human review where a significant decision is made solely by automated means.

11. Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact privacy@predator-software.eu. We will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days, investigate it appropriately and communicate the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or telephone 0303 123 1113. If another supervisory authority applies to you, you may also contact that authority.
12. Security and personal data breaches
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We record and assess personal data breaches. Where legally required, we notify the relevant regulator without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. If a breach is likely to create a high risk to affected people, we also notify those people without undue delay.
13. Children
Our website, products and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly use children’s personal information for marketing.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not use personal information collected through this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
15. California residents
California residents may contact ccpa@predator-software.eu to ask about access, correction or deletion rights and other choices that may apply under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
16. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date. We will provide additional notice where a change materially affects how we use personal information and the law requires it.
