Predator Oven software empowers manufacturer's heat treat, test chamber and other temperature-controlled manufacturing processes with flexible soak and ramping recipes per part number. Comprehensive box and cart management are fully integrated within Predator Oven Control. As built records are maintained per oven, box, lot, part, shift and employee. Details include pass/fail along with complete temperature records recorded per minute. Predator Oven Control provides lights out operation and production with flexible manufacturing and automation with support for up to eight ovens per PC.

Oven or Test Chamber Tending Software

Maximize the productivity of your industrial ovens and test chambers while reducing the number of operators/labor required. Support for soaking or an unlimited number of ramps per recipe is included. With 8760 hours per year, achieving the maximum number of production hours per oven or chamber requires automation with Predator Oven Control software. Lights out heat treat and test chamber operation with off the shelf software, hardware, support and service from Predator Software.

Soak and Ramping Recipes

Create and maintain an unlimited number of recipes. Complex ramping recipes with an unlimited number of steps are supported. Assign recipes to part numbers to fast track their use.

Box and Cart Management

Create and maintain an unlimited number of boxes. Simplify operations by loading boxes of parts into ovens or test chambers. Operators can load boxes onto carts to simplify loading and unloading of ovens via carts. Support for multiple carts per oven is included. Comprehensive box and cart management is included within Predator Oven Control.

Traceability

Operating temperatures are recorded every minute and linked to every box and cart. Trend charts for every job run is available within Predator Oven Control or within an offline application.

Job Scheduling

Predator Oven Control software displays queued jobs in an easy to review list. Jobs can be added, removed, or put on hold according to the day-to-day changes in shop floor priorities. Engineers and production co-workers can view all scheduled jobs on any oven from any PC.

Eliminate mistakes and reduce scrap

Traditional oven and test chamber control requires operators to know and select which recipes are required per part number with recipe management utilizing the temperature controller HMI's small screen and complex menus. Predator Oven Control eliminates recipe management on the temperature controller and utilizes a Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft SQL Server Express database to store an unlimited number of recipes and parts. Predator Oven Control eliminates the need to manually update recipes or select appropriate recipes. With Predator Oven Control operators scan a bar code or QR code from a work order or traveler. Predator Oven Control can validate the assigned part number and recipe per work order or traveler and remotely run up to 8 ovens per PC from a single touch friendly PC HMI. Predator Oven Control software provides a consistent PC based HMI across multiple ovens and different generations of temperature controllers. Predator Oven Control software uses native temperature controller APIs to maximize the capability and automation of each oven within the cell.

Temperature Controller Requirements

Predator Oven Control software requires Honeywell UDC Temperature controllers with the RS485 Modbus communication option to be purchased from Honeywell or a Honeywell reseller.

Optional pass/fail labeling

Unloading each oven triggers Predator Oven Control software to automatically print pass or fail labels for every box via Zebra printers. Labels can be customized with Zebra's label design software with Predator variables for box number, part number, job number, operator, etc. Support for a wide range of Zebra label printers is included.

Flexible licensing and purchasing

Predator Oven Control software supports one-time purchase or annual subscription. Predator Oven Control/1 software at $5,750 for a one-time purchase or $8700 for an annual subscription. Pricing includes Predator Oven Control/1 with Premier Support. Predator Oven Control options, additional ovens, implementation, training and professional services are not included with starts at pricing.
